There has been a wives’ tale saying that vinegar help cure toenail fungus. Will vinegar treat toenail fungus? How true is it?
It is true that you can use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar to treat toenail fungus.
When you get a fungus on your toenails, it will completely change the pH of the nails and make it more alkaline, this causes the tissues and cuticles to be irritated. This irritation causes you to itch and sometimes causes pain in the area.
Now vinegar contains an acid that will relieve itching and pain, this acidic nature also combats the further spread of the fungi micro-organism and help you to treat the problem you are experiencing.
This makes the use of vinegar one of the most effective ways to get rid of the fungi and prevent any further growth.
Apple cider vinegar has been tested and proven to be the best of all of the vinegars to cure toenail fungal infections and has the ability to prevent any further spreading of toenail fungus. It is also shown to reduce inflammation and itching caused by toenail fungus.

Yes it works.. I bought a big bottle of the cheap white vinegar. I heat it, and then I soak my feet for a good half an hour or so.
You can reuse the vinegar until it gets gross. I do it about once a week, but I think it would work even better if I did more often.
It seems to have changed the whole chemical environment of my feet. I also had mild athletes foot for years, which is now completely gone. And it makes my feet soft too.
And you can do when you are pregnant, and it will feel nice. Have your partner give your feet a good towel rub at the end of the soak.
