One easy step is to bathe your feet regularly, preferably with lukewarm water with a mild soap and make sure to towel it dry thoroughly. Using cotton socks, or any absorbent material that are thick and soft will help absorb the moisture of your foot. Make sure to change it at least once a day. You can also try using foot powder when wearing shoes even without wearing socks.
If you suspect fungal infections between your toes or the bottom of your feet, don’t ignore it. Get treatment right away. Foot ointments are readily available over-the-counter, but it is still advisable to consult your doctor on which one you should use. If you can prevent yourself from wearing the same pair of shoes two days straight, please do so. Alternating shoes will give more time for the sweat to evaporate in the air and no bacteria will be left behind.
